Michael Canitrot at the Statue of Liberty - Monumental Tour

Watch Liberty Lights, Michael Canitrot's historic live performance at the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Created to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty and the 250th anniversary of American Independence, this original audiovisual performance was broadcast nationwide in the United States on ABC and Disney networks, and in France on France 2 (France Télévisions). Filmed on Liberty Island, Liberty Lights combines original electronic music, choreography, lasers and monumental lighting around one of the world's most iconic landmarks. Conceived and performed by French artist Michael Canitrot and Monumental Tour, this original work celebrates the universal values embodied by the Statue of Liberty: freedom, hope, unity and progress. Presented at the invitation of the Consulate General of France in New York. ——————————— "This is my complete artistic vision for the Statue of Liberty and the values it represents.
