#Metaverse #SamVaknin #meta When Mark Zuckerberg rebranded Facebook to Meta I got curious about this much-hyped phenomenon called Metaverse. I started to explore the internet to understand it better. To my despair, most of the information on Metaverse was from a technical lens explaining WHAT is metaverse, but not HOW is Metaverse going to impact our lives. During this time, I happened to meet Sam who is quite well known in the field of psychology, and runs a successful channel on YouTube for many years. We had this long, wide-ranging conversation about Metaverse and society. His insights on this topic is deep, honest and thought-provoking. ABOUT THE GUEST : Sam Vaknin has a PhD in Physics and is a Professor of Psychology in Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don in Russia and a Professor of Finance and Psychology in SIAS-CIAPS. He is the author of “Malignant Self-love: Narcissism Revisited” and other books in multiple fields. He served as an economic advisor to governments and multinationals and founded the Healthcare Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Macedonia. Collaborated with IMF, WB, and WHO.
