FFI is an app built specifically for players in India. It is optimised to run smoothly across a broad range of devices, including devices with lower hardware specifications. 3. FFI will feature a wide range of locally relevant in-game events and campaigns, tailored for Indian players. 4. FFI will be operated in accordance with applicable Indian laws and regulations. 5. FFI promotes responsible gameplay, with features designed to encourage healthy gameplay habits: a. Playtime limits: All users can play up to 6 hours per day, after which gameplay is paused until the daily window resets. Users under 18 are limited to 3 hours per day. b. Regular break reminders: Users are reminded to take a break at regular intervals. c. Spending limits: Users under 18 are subject to spending caps to prevent excessive in-game spending. d. Parental supervision: Users under 18 must get consent from a parent or guardian before creating an account, including verification of the parent or guardian’s mobile number. 6. FFI and Garena will promote esports in India, with the goal of winning medals for India: a. FFMIC will be rebranded as FFWS India, in line with local leagues in other countries. b. The FFWS India prize pool will double to INR 2 Crore. c. Many more tournaments are planned for 2027. d. Grassroots and community tournaments will expand: more city qualifiers (18, up from 12), a Campus Cup with 1 slot in the Play-Ins, and more. e. India will have 2 slots at FFWS 2027. There is 1 more potential slot through the Last Chance Qualifier for the South Asia region (India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh). f. Indian athletes will compete in global competitions such as EWC and FFWS. g. Garena is committed to developing esports in India. It will identify and develop athletes with the potential to compete at national and international tournaments, by hosting competitions at the state, national and international levels.
