Today's awesome request is for The Biltons, The Quines and Tricia Pollard and it's been requested by my beautiful Mum-in-law Lesley 💙💙💙 Here's the second Rod tune in the Lockdown Jukebox - and we're exploring 90s power ballad Rod here! When I first listened to this I didn't think it would come out quite so sweetly as this, but we realised when we started learning the chords that without the synths and dramatic backing, this is actually just a beautiful folky song with a lovely lilting melody. Normally, I do the 'Holly Jukebox Challenge' in December every year to raise funds for York Mind. However, now that many of us find our lives flipped turned upside down (as Will Smith said) due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I thought I'd try and spread a little joy from the safety of my front room and bust out some tunes for the charity in Spring/Summer 2020.
