Electric + Gas Wakesurf Boat?! Testing The World's First! The Genesis 24!

The Genesis 24 Hybrid Surf Boat is the world’s first hybrid electric wake boat, and I had the opportunity to not only see it in person, but I had the chance to wakesurf and foil behind it! Yes, there is a gas engine in this boat BUT it's sole purpose is to charge the batteries that are running the motor which is getting nearly 3 times the amount of torque we usually see in a wake surf boat, and it can charge when sitting still or while underway.
