Meenakshi Temple Night Ceremony in Madurai, Southern India

This is a symbolic marriage ceremony between Lord Shiva and Parvati that takes place every night around 11pm and it has been going on for centuries. One of the most interesting attractions of Southern India, I just love being integrated with the everyday life when I am travelling. Long video though! :)
