How Hard Times Change the Way You See Everything

Sometimes we see the hole in the boat but not the danger ahead. Sometimes we see the closed door but not what it protected us from. Sometimes we see only the loss, while God sees a reality far beyond what we can understand. This video reflects on seven consolations for difficult seasons of life. You may not be able to change what happened. But perhaps you can change the place from which you look at it. Maybe you are only a guest in this sorrow. Maybe the page you keep trying to rewrite has already been signed. Maybe one bitter chapter has made you forget how much sweetness you have received.
