23:22 - Deputies interview the male passenger and learn his intentions On August 16, 2026, Charlotte County Sheriff's Deputy Weihs observed a vehicle allegedly doing 68 miles per hour (MPH) in a 45 MPH zone. Deputy Weihs attempted a traffic stop, but the driver of the vehicle took an extended amount of time to stop. The vehicle was being driven by a 23-year-old woman. She admitted coming from the Paddy Wagon Irish Pub, where she met her 30-year-old male passenger for the first time and offered to give him a ride home. After completing field sobriety tests, the woman was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Deputy Nuwer interviewed the passenger, who admitted to getting out of state prison 2 months prior. He was apparently looking to take the driver home for intimacy. She, on the other hand, was transported to the Charlotte County Jail, where her two "baby daddies" were currently residing. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
