How To Use A Tile Cutter

Being patient with a tile cutter is super important to getting a nice cut line. You want to score the tile rather than putting a lot of pressure on the tile with the blade. It takes low to medium pressure to score a tile correctly, then once it's scored you want to let the pressure from the tile cutter do the rest of the work and snap the tile. It takes practice but with a few trial cuts you should get the hang of it. I finished my last backsplash using this tile cutter for 99% of the cuts. The only time I was not able to use it was around electrical outlets. Otherwise, the tile cutter should do the job for you without many issues.
