Fake 1 oz Gold Eagles Are In Coin Shops. Here's How To Spot One.

👉 My book - Real, Fake or Worth a Fortune? https://ezrafeldstein.somethingworthw... One of the two 1 oz Gold Eagles in my hand is fake-and it weighs almost exactly the same as the real one. I walk through the tests I use to compare them and show what to look for before handing over thousands of dollars for a piece of plated metal. I spent 40 years as a jeweler on 47th Street, where Gold Eagles came across my counter constantly. I explain why weight alone isn’t enough, what the real coin does compared with the fake, and why convincing counterfeits turning up in coin shops deserve serious attention. Tell me in the comments what state you’re watching from and whether you already own a Gold Eagle. #GoldEagle #GoldCoins #CoinCollecting #CounterfeitCoins #GoldInvesting
