Blown Away

This song, "Blown Away," started with a conversation between two friends about a year that wasn't always pretty. But it was also a talk about hope—that things are finally changing. A good friend sent me a cool electric guitar riff he had recorded himself, which I used as the foundation with my AI band. I used our conversation as input for the AI to capture the raw emotions in the lyrics—but that was only the beginning. To get the song exactly where I wanted it, I had to personally go in and "vacuum" the lyrics for all kinds of AI nonsense. I tightened the phrasing, weeded out the generic parts, and fine-tuned the flow to make sure the "singability" was razor-sharp. Perhaps you’ve also had a time that required a little extra strength? Then this song is for you. I hope it can give you the same lift it gave me during the process of creating it. The result is an upbeat pop-rock song with a strong female vocal about: Leaving the darkness behind and feeling the optimism bubble. Finding your own rhythm again. That very special feeling of release when the headwind finally becomes a tailwind.
