UK to Pakistan by Motorcycle Ep. 9 | Croatia to Mostar, Bosnia | Day 9

Day 9 of my solo motorcycle journey from the UK to Pakistan on a Honda Africa Twin 1100, and today I leave the EU behind and enter Bosnia & Herzegovina. I pack up at Camping Moče in Croatia (found on iOverlander, with brand new facilities and a lovely owner) and ride roughly 300km to Mostar. The morning starts with more of that beautiful Adriatic coastline before I switch to the motorway towards the border. Then, 10–15km out, a summer thunderstorm hits. Clear skies ahead, but 10 minutes of heavy rain at motorway speed with nowhere safe to stop. The border was the easiest yet: under 5 minutes on the Croatian side and even quicker into Bosnia. Local roads take me through small towns and villages to Mostar. It was hot going, but the scenery got better towards the end. A quick stop at a mechanic to check the chain (all good), then on to my guesthouse in the old town.
