🇻🇳 BAD FOREIGNER BEHAVIOR IN VIETNAM — PART 2 When we travel or live abroad, we are guests in someone else’s country — and we need to act like it. In Part 2, we’re talking about behavior I’ve personally witnessed from some South African foreigners here in Da Nang, Vietnam, and asking an important question: Why does certain bad behavior seem to continue unchecked? This isn’t about attacking an entire nationality. The actions of a few people should never represent millions of South Africans. This is about individual behavior, accountability, and respecting the country that has welcomed you. Whether you’re American, South African, British, Australian, European, or from anywhere else, the same rule should apply: respect Vietnamese people, respect Vietnamese culture, respect local laws, and remember that you’re representing more than just yourself when you’re overseas.
