In 2021, Spicomellus afer was uncovered in Morocco - the world's oldest ankylosaur. Now, scientists have found even more fossils from Spicomellus, and what they reveal completely changes the appearance of this dinosaur and rewrites our understanding of ankylosaur evolution.
