After trying a lot of deckbuilders throughout the years and bouncing off almost all of them, I had more or less decided that the genre wasn't for me - which is why I was very pleasantly surprised after trying out Death Howl. This game drops a lot of the reliance on RNG that plagues most of the genre, and offers a refreshing experience that respects your time and actually wants you to reach the end. Wow, how does it do that? Better watch and find out! All games featured were recorded (and played) by me: Tabletop Simulator Royal Game of Ur (royalur.net) Slay the Spire Fights in Tight Spaces Dicey Dungeons Shogun Showdown Cobalt Core Inscryption Monster Train Balatro Death Howl Mewgenics Q-UP Timestamps: 0:00 - Intro 9:04 - Combat & Basics 24:33 - Exploration & Deck Management 37:39 - Conclusion
