Lighthouse Park near Vancouver, B.C.

With sweeping ocean vistas, hidden coves and beaches, and a view of Vancouver from Starburst Cove that is perfect for a picnic lunch. While the park itself is not one of the bigger ones, its winding trails afford a good morning, or afternoon, away from the city. Getting in 10,000 steps is not hard to do at Lighthouse Park, and it is only 35 minutes on the Upper Level Highway – when traffic is cooperating.
