In this video, I’m sharing how I started my English learning journey and the simple techniques I followed to improve my English, especially my listening and speaking skills.
When I started learning English, I didn’t try to watch very long or difficult videos. I usually chose 10–15 minute English videos and followed a simple three-step process.
The 3 techniques I followed were:
1️⃣ Listen and note down unknown words
First, I listened to an English video carefully and noted down the words whose meanings I didn’t know.
2️⃣ Listen to the same video again
After understanding the unknown words, I listened to the video again. This time, the video became much clearer because I was already familiar with the difficult words.
3️⃣ Explain it in my own words
Finally, I tried to explain what I had understood in my own words. This helped me practise speaking, understand the content better, and become more comfortable with English.
These were some of the first steps I took when I started learning English. Now, I’m also doing reading and writing practice, along with listening and speaking.
I’m still learning, and I make mistakes—but I believe that consistency, practice, and confidence are more important than trying to be perfect.
This channel is about my real journey of learning English, improving my communication skills, building confidence, and becoming a better version of myself.
If you are also learning English, especially as a beginner, I hope you can learn something from my journey. ❤️
Thank you so much for watching and supporting me.
Let’s learn, practise, and improve together!
