I first heard of ghost back in high school when the guitarist of my band would play them in the car when he'd pick me up and drop me off after rehearsal. I liked con clavi con dio, but it was too hard for me to play at the time. It was his favorite song so I tried to learn it. My favorite was Satan Prayer. I just liked how the song sounded. I distinctly remember listening to it and thinking that if I could take the song and tweak it I'd like it even more. At that time I was only into classic rock for the most part and wanted to make it a little less heavy, but I don't think that anymore. I hadn't actually heard Elizabeth until it was requested for me to do. In looking up the band to try to see how it's played, it was really interesting to see them play this on a small stage in 2013 (like a small outside festival) where there might have been 80 or so people paying attention to them and then seeing these theaters holding them and 2000+ people. I decided to crop my head out so I could be a "nameless ghoul". Because it was Ghost, I assumed it was in D standard, and everything fits well so I'm pretty sure it is D standard tuning. The videos seem to confirm the position in D standard as well. The bass in this one was harder than normal to hear.    • Ghost-Live At HellFest 2011-Intro/Con Clav...   this video it's much easier to hear the bass. It sounds like it follows the guitars a lot. at 8:30 you can see the Nameless Ghoul's hand and see that he plays 8 on the E string (tuned to D) and not 3 on the A string. at 9:01 you can see the nameless ghoul in full for that piece at 68 and then at bar 70, you can see that he doesn't play straight 16th notes (which confirms that I wasn't hearing them as straight 16ths) Thanks for watching! Enjoy :) #Ghost #bass #basscover #tabs This music belongs to The original artists.
