The Whistle Through the Valley

THE WHISTLE THROUGH THE VALLEY Yesterday morning, I heard a train whistle in the distance. It reminded me of “This Train Is Bound for Glory,” and my heart turned toward the promised return of Jesus. This morning, that moment became a song. The train is a picture of expectation. The promise beneath it is Jesus’ own: “I will come again, and receive you unto myself” (John 14:3, KJV). May this song help us listen, look up, and live ready with joy. Soli Deo Gloria.
