Exploring Milan 🇮🇹 | Duomo di Milano & Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II | Italy Travel Vlog

Assalam O Alaikum friends, Welcome back to my Italy journey! 🇮🇹 In this vlog, we visited the beautiful city of Milan and explored one of the most famous landmarks in Italy, the Duomo di Milano. The construction of Duomo di Milano started in 1386 and it took almost six centuries (around 600 years) to complete. It is known for its stunning white marble Gothic architecture and detailed artistic design. One of the most unique things about this landmark is the huge number of sculptures and statues. The building has around 3,400 statues, making it one of the structures with the largest number of statues in the world. During our visit, we also explored the nearby Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which is one of the oldest and most beautiful shopping galleries in the world. It is located right next to the Duomo and is famous for its elegant glass roof, historic architecture, and luxury shops. Inside the gallery there is also a famous tradition that many visitors try. On the floor there is a bull mosaic (symbol of the city of Turin). According to tradition, people place their heel on the bull and spin three times for good luck. It is believed that this brings luck and that visitors will return to Milan again.
