Kym Barrett is one of Hollywood’s most influential costume designers, best known for creating the iconic looks of The Matrix trilogy, including Neo’s legendary black trench coat, helping define an aesthetic that transformed cinema, fashion, and popular culture. Her extraordinary career spans more than three decades, with credits including Romeo + Juliet, The Matrix, The Amazing Spider-Man, Speed Racer, Cloud Atlas, Aquaman, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Us, and Three Thousand Years of Longing. A longtime collaborator of the Wachowskis, Barrett has also designed for Cirque du Soleil and the Metropolitan Opera, earning widespread recognition for her visionary approach to costume and character design.
