2026 Ashland City Council Candidate Forum

Eleven of the 12 candidates running for four open seats on the Ashland City Council make their case to voters in this nonpartisan forum, recorded Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Mountain Avenue Theatre at Ashland High School. The November 3 election is the first in which Ashland voters choose councilors from a single at-large pool. The top three vote-getters will serve four-year terms, and the fourth-place finisher will serve a two-year term. Topics include healthcare, housing, and the city’s relationship with SOU.
