Qantas new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Inflight - “Great Southern Land” VH-ZNA

Come along with me onboard Qantas’s brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner “Great Southern Land” from Melbourne to Perth! Originally ordered in 2005, after years of delays, deferrals and potential cancellation of the order, Qantas First Dreamliner finally touched down in 2017. Showing the fantastic ability and technology of the aircraft, they will soon be deployed on some of the longest routes in the world, starting with Melbourne to Los Angeles, then the first Australia England non stop commercial flight of Perth to London. Prior to the their entry into international service, they have been flying domestically to allow the crew a chance to get familiar with the aircraft. This experience was one of the greatest flights I had ever been on. I had flown in the night before from Adelaide specifically to experience the Dreamliner. Using a points redemption, I was lucky enough to experience the brilliant business class cabin onboard the flight. The crew onboard where fantastic as well, giving me a personal tour of the aircraft in flight and a visit to the flight deck after we arrived.
