Kaga Traditional Crafts Village　Yunokuni no Mori

Yunokuni no Mori, a traditional crafts village in Komatsu City, Ishikawa, right next to Awazu Onsen. It's an entire village of Edo and Meiji era thatched-roof farmhouses, relocated into 13,000 tsubo (about 43 hectares) of forest. From spring through autumn, the umbrella sky overhead is one of the highlights. I took a slow walk through the grounds, past the workshops for Kutani ware, Wajima lacquer, gold leaf, and more.
