BBO 'ORUN SI' Cover | Let the Heavens Open & Rain Your Mercy | Yoruba Worship | Madel

“Ọ̀run ṣí o, Efata o, òjò àánú k'ó rọ̀ sórí mi.” “Let the heavens open; Ephphatha—be opened! Let the rain of mercy fall upon me.” ORUN SI, originally sung by BBO, is a powerful Yoruba prayer and worship song crying out for open heavens, divine mercy and the presence of God. This rendition by Madel combines the heart of Orun Si with verses inspired by Steve Crown’s “We Wait on You” and Sonnie Badu’s “Baba O”, creating a journey from waiting in God's presence to a passionate prayer for the heavens to open. 🕊️ “Holy Spirit, You are welcome, Fill this temple with Your presence. We wait on You, Lord, we wait on You.” Then comes the cry: “Ọ̀run ṣí, Ọ̀run ṣí o, Efata o, Òjò àánú k'ó rọ̀ sórí mi.” “Let the heavens open, Let the heavens open, oh; Ephphatha—be opened! Let the rain of mercy fall upon me.” And finally, the prayer becomes a declaration for an overflow of God's presence and blessing: “Open the floodgates in abundance, And cause Your rain to fall on me.” ✨ Let the heavens open ✨ Let the Holy Spirit fill this place ✨ Let the rain of mercy fall ✨ Let grace and favour flow in abundance ✨ Lord, we wait in Your presence 📖 “Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down.” — Isaiah 64:1 📖 “I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.” — Ezekiel 34:26 📖 “He looked up to heaven... and said to him, ‘Ephphatha!’ (which means ‘Be opened!’).” — Mark 7:34 🎶 Song: Orun Si 🎵 Originally sung by: BBO 🎶 Verses inspired by: Steve Crown – We Wait on You & Sonnie Badu – Baba O 🎤 Cover voicing and Arrangement by Madel and edited in Suno.
