Yellowstone closed this trail in 1949.
Decades later, the trail is gone from the maps, overgrown by the forest, and officially considered abandoned. But someone is still ordering signs for it.
When a Yellowstone ranger discovers that the park’s sign shop continue receiving requests for a trail that hasn’t existed for generatians, he starts traceng the orders back through old records. What he finds connects the forgotten trail to a series of strange incidents that the park never fully documented.
Some trails are closed because they are dangerous.
Others are closed because nobody wants people to know where they lead.
