Hünfeld, Germany 🇩🇪 Walking Tour [4K] | The Hidden City of the Computer

Join me for a 4K walking tour of Hünfeld, Germany! Located in the beautiful northern Rhön mountains of Hesse (right near Fulda), Hünfeld is a picturesque hidden gem known officially as the "Konrad-Zuse-Stadt"—named after the famous inventor of the first programmable computer who lived and worked here. In this Hünfeld city walk, we experience the peaceful everyday life of a classic German town. We explore the charming town center (Innenstadt), admire the beautiful St. Bonifatius Monastery (St. Bonifatiuskloster), and take a relaxing stroll through the expansive Bürgerpark and around the serene Haselsee. With its blend of historic architecture, modern street poetry (Das Offene Buch), and stunning Hessian nature, Hünfeld is a perfect slice of off-the-beaten-path Germany. Whether you are planning a trip to the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, researching Hesse, or simply love relaxing virtual walking tours, this video shows you the true charm of the region.
