Self-host your own encrypted email server at home using the open-source Proton Mail web apps. Mail, calendar, accounts and admin panel, all running on your own Debian server with Euroton. Install & run Euroton, a self-hosted server for the open-source Proton web clients. This covers the install on a bare Debian 13 machine with Ansible (2 playbooks, 17 minutes on 8 cores & 16 GB of RAM), then backups, updates, outside mail, Let's Encrypt, plans, branding & what isn't built yet. Build footage is sped up, and the timer shows real time. Alpha, version 0.1.0. Don't keep your only copy of important mail here. Mail moves between accounts on one server by default. Outside mail is off & has never moved a real message.
