From above, as if out of nowhere, a cable, at the end of which hangs a lamp with a conical shade made of thin sheet metal. The weak light of the lamp forms an apparent space in the middle of the hall, the air of which seems stale, almost musty. Robot Dawn Barely breathing, Dr. Allan Gorn's lifeless body lying on the table, engulfed by the cone of light. The table, 1.5 x 2.5 m, surrounded by switching elements, monitors and integrated systems, gleamed metallically. The body, strangely reflecting the light of the lamp, lay stretched out on the slab and almost filled it. Allan Gorn saw life slowly, infinitely slowly, begin to pour into the giant. First moves. Finally, RD stood like a mountain of steel in front of him and confirmed the operational readiness with his reminder code. RD was still empty, but that should change. Now the main part of the work began for the doctor, he had to program the photonic brain of the giant. Their exuberant, cheerful and at the same time dignified goings-on fascinate him. But he didn't come to them to be a near-perfect machine again. RD came to kill. With the power that his creator has endowed him with and with his irrepressible will to become human, he challenges a knight to battle.
