Pt Torvi, Karnataka Kalatilaka, Kirana Gharana Awardee, the untiring propagator of Hindustani classical music, a paradigm pioneer, established and popularised Hindustani classical music in the hearts of Bnagaloreans. Panditjis Gurubhakti and adulation for his Guru lead him to establish Gururao Deshpande Sangeet Sabha three decades ago. This trust has been relentlessly working towards furthering the cause of music through Panditjis innovative projects such as All Night Music Mehfils, Malhar Utsav, Dharwad Utsav and educational programmes.
