This one might blow your mind. The waves were crashing into the shore with so much force that the sound started to resemble distant rolls of thunder. It’s still just the ocean, but the combination of heavy waves, rocks and the coastline creates a much deeper and more powerful sound than my usual recordings. This is something completely new on Relascape. No music, no added effects, no artificial sounds — just the raw sound of heavy Atlantic waves recorded on location. It has a completely different character from the softer ocean recordings on the channel. Recorded on the Atlantic coast of Portugal. Filmed in 4K with a Sony ZV-E10.
