Vargo Stainless Steel "Bot" - Bottle Pot - Fancy Feast Stove "Nailed - M1" - Boil Test #1

A couple of days ago I did a boil test on a modified Fancy Feast stove where I used three 16 penny nails as a pot stand. I had hoped that the open space provided by the nails would allow the flames to cover more of the pot bottom and shortening the boil time. It didn't turn out to shortening the boil time. The boil time in that test was just about the same as previous tests with the regular Fancy Feast stove. When I took the pot off the stove I pointed out that the flame then seemed to go to the center of the burner a little higher than the one inch height of the pot stand. In this video I re-arrange the three nails to increase the distance between the burner and the bottom of the pot to a little more than two inches.
