Welcome back to more Pokémon TCG Pocket gameplay, and today we're testing one of my favorite Pokémon from the new expansion: Team Rocket's Articuno ex! This new Team Rocket Pokémon brings a powerful but risky strategy to the game. Its Hailstorm attack can deal a massive 130 damage, but there's a catch—it also deals 20 damage to our own Benched Pokémon. That drawback makes this deck all about managing our HP and timing our attacks correctly. ❄️ Team Rocket's Articuno ex — 130 Damage! We're going all-in on Team Rocket's Articuno ex by running only three Pokémon in the entire deck: • 2x Team Rocket's Articuno ex • 1x Articuno as a backup attacker With so few Pokémon in the deck, our goal is simple: get Articuno ex into play, power it up, and start using Hailstorm to pressure our opponent. The 130-damage attack gives us serious knockout potential, but the self-damage to our Bench means we have to be careful. One wrong play could leave our Pokémon vulnerable to a knockout. 🧠 Team Rocket's Master Plan We're also trying out the new Team Rocket's Master Plan, which can create a very interesting situation by confusing the Active Pokémon—and potentially our own Pokémon depending on the coin flip. This can buy us valuable time while we set up Team Rocket's Articuno ex and prepare for the next attack. 💧 Misty Is Back! Of course, we can't play a powerful Water Pokémon without giving Misty another chance to shine! Misty gives us the potential to accelerate our Energy through coin flips, allowing us to get Articuno ex ready for Hailstorm much faster when we get lucky. When the flips go our way, we can put our opponent under serious pressure very early in the game. 🛡️ Protecting Articuno ex One of the biggest weaknesses of Team Rocket's Articuno ex is its low HP. Because Hailstorm already damages our own Bench, we need to make sure our Articuno survives long enough to get multiple attacks off. That's why we're running cards like Giant Cape and Starting Plains to help improve our survivability and prevent easy one-hit knockouts. 🚀 Can Team Rocket's Articuno ex Conquer the Meta? With massive damage from Hailstorm, potential Energy acceleration from Misty, disruption from Team Rocket's Master Plan, and a deck built almost entirely around Articuno ex, this strategy can be extremely explosive. But with low HP and self-damage working against us, there's very little room for mistakes. ❄️ Can Team Rocket's Articuno ex become a competitive Pokémon TCG Pocket deck?
