PHOTOSYNTHESIS IN HIGHER PLANTS | Lesson 1 | Early Experiments + Pigments | NEET 2027 Biology

🌿 PHOTOSYNTHESIS IN HIGHER PLANTS — LESSON 1 | NEET 2027 Welcome to *Biology with Neha Baid*! 🧬🌱 In this *Lesson 1*, we begin one of the most important and frequently tested chapters of *NEET Biology — Photosynthesis in Higher Plants*. In this class, we build the concepts from the early experiments that established our understanding of photosynthesis and then move into the fascinating world of photosynthetic pigments and light absorption. 📚 In this video, we cover: 🔬 *Early Experiments in Photosynthesis* Joseph Priestley’s experiment Jan Ingenhousz’s experiment Julius von Sachs’ experiment T. W. Engelmann’s experiment Van Niel’s observations and inference Key conclusions and *NEET-relevant points* 🌿 *Photosynthetic Pigments* Chlorophyll a Chlorophyll b Carotenoids Xanthophylls Their role in photosynthesis 💡 Light Absorption & Spectra Absorption spectrum Action spectrum Relationship between pigments and wavelengths of light Why *red and blue light* are particularly important in photosynthesis 🧠 *NEET 2027 Focus* Important experimental observations Conceptual questions Commonly confused points NCERT-based facts Important lines and concepts for *NEET preparation* Whether you're starting *Photosynthesis in Higher Plants* for the first time or revising for **NEET 2027**, this lesson is designed to help you understand the concepts rather than simply memorize them. 🌱 *Learn → Understand → Revise → Crack Biology!* 📌 *Channel:* Biology with Neha Baid 📚 *Chapter:* Photosynthesis in Higher Plants 🎯 *Lesson:* 1 🎓 *Target:* NEET 2027 If you find this lecture helpful, *LIKE 👍 | SHARE ↗️ | SUBSCRIBE 🔔* to Biology with Neha Baid for more NEET Biology lectures, concept explanations, PYQs and revision content. #NEET2027 #NEET #NEETBiology #Biology #Photosynthesis #PhotosynthesisInHigherPlants #NEETPreparation #NEETBiology2027 #BiologyWithNehaBaid #NCERTBiology #NCERT #NEETRevision #BiologyLecture #NEETLecture #PhotosyntheticPigments #Chlorophyll #Carotenoids #Xanthophyll #AbsorptionSpectrum #ActionSpectrum #PhotosynthesisExperiments #BiologyClass #NEETAspirants #NEETPreparation2027 #NEETUG #MedicalEntrance #BiologyPreparation
