The Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 27DEC2024. Channel abandonment on 31DEC2024!

This channel will be abandoned on 31DEC2024 for various reasons. The new channel is available at Michael Jensen @Mikeinmorgan here on YouTube. With that in mind, the Comments have been turned off on this channel. Today's California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0542 MST (4 min. early but On Schedule departure). P42s #74 and #140 provided the power to the 8-car train which did a single spot-two car passenger service session with 2 passengers stepping from car 3 and 2 new passengers boarding car 2 While 4 passengers detrained from car 7 followed by 3 new passengers boarding the coach. With the station work completed, the high ball was given and after a lull the Zephyr did depart for Union Station in Denver. My thanks to the operating crew for the greetings.
