Annika Betts - U22 Stoney Creek vs U19 Lovell Academy (Detroit USA CANADA Cup Series)

Game 3 of the Detroit USA CANADA Cup Series for the Sabres (ranked #1 in Canada). Coming off a 3-1 win over Chicago Mission (ranked #3 in USA) in game 2, the Sabres were facing #4 nationally ranked Lovell Academy. Lovell were buzzing early and they’d get on the board first on the power play 9 minutes in to take a 1-0 lead. The Sabres would even it up just a minute later. No scoring in the second, however the Sabres would score exactly 4 minutes into the 3rd period for the eventual game winner. Annika was strong in this one and was named player of the game for the Sabres. Hazel Park Ice Arena (Olympic) Saturday October 24 at 11:15am
