World War 2 Decoy Site

Today's video is an update on my second video from back in 2022. I'm taking a closer look at the World War 2 Starfish bombing decoy site along Gypsy Lane Kinver. There have always been a few things about this site that didn't make sense to me. In particular there is no official listing for it and there's no protection for the team manning the site. Local Adam Lewis came up with a possible answer to this and I have enjoyed working with him to unravel the puzzle. it turns out that there was another Starfish site very close by. This one actually has official listings, but its odd that there would be two sites so close to each other. I read somewhere that occasionally a site may have a 'satelite' site nearby and I strongly suspect that this is what happened here. The 'new' site being the main site and the Gypsy Lane site being the 'satelite'. The main site is listed as both a QL (lighting) and a QF (fire)site. Now it may be that the main site housed the QL decoys and the satelite site the QF decoys, or the main site had both and the Gypsy Lane site just provided additional fire decoys. We have not been able to find any detailed info on the site to confirm this theory, but it seems logical.
