Why did Kagurazaka evolve from a samurai district into one of Tokyo’s best-known dining neighborhoods? Starting from Iidabashi Station, we walk through Kagurazaka’s historic streets and narrow stone-paved alleys, exploring its geisha culture, hidden restaurants and French influence along the way. This walk was filmed during the Kagurazaka Summer Festival, when the main street was filled with festival crowds and Bon Odori dancing.
