Ghost Gal ALTERGEIST just got a NEW SKILL! Is it good enough? Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links!

For anyone new to my channel, I am Crimson Reaper 5, the community's most well known Altergeist main and this channel is dedicated to everything Duel Links and Altergeist related. If you have any questions about the deck, feel free to ask and I'll answer. I've been playing Altergeists since 2017 when they first came out in the Circuit Break booster pack so I have 9 years experience on the deck (as of 2026) and counting! Altergeist is truly a fun deck and I look forward to teaching new viewers how the deck works, how to play it, what the optimal combos are, and how to climb with Altergeists. In this video, we are looking at the brand new Skill that Ghost Gal Altergeist recently got. The Skill in question is called EX Code: Infinite Impermanence. Basically, this Skill allows you to return two cards to the bottom of your deck then draw two cards. You can also set Infinite Impermanence from your hand or deck, but if you set it from the hand, you can draw an additional card, therefore meaning you draw three cards instead of two. So, do I think EX Code: Infinite Impermanence is good enough to revitalize Ghost Gal Altergeist? I don't think so. While this Skill does have potential, draw power and Multifaker consistency isn't what Ghost Gal Altergeist needs going for it right now. This Skill requires you to control a monster in your Extra Monster Zone as well, meaning if you Meluseek tag into Linkuriboh, your Multifaker is just dead for the turn, which really stinks. This Skill also does nothing to help you out for your turn one setup or get you to your Hexstia. In short, you're much better off playing Altergeists with Odion's Sanctuary of the King's Treasures Skill until a better Skill option comes out for Ghost Gal. Maybe someday Ghost Gal will get a Skill that adds Altergeist Protocol to the deck or something, in which case then Ghost Gal will be the de facto choice for Altergeists. I'll keep you updated if that happens. But yeah, this Skill was not great and I had to scoop a lot of duels to obtain quality replays showcasing this new Ghost Gal Skill in action, at least where Altergeists are concerned. This Skill is much better suited for Live★Twins than Altergeists, as unfortunate as that might sound. If you enjoyed this video, drop a sub and comment to help grow this channel.
