Genetics 3: Meiosis (including mitosis recap and comparison)

This is one of the more complex processes on the course, and it is important to get a good understanding of it, ahead of looking at the complexities of genetic crosses and tracking inheritance. However, a more superficial understanding can suffice for most meiosis questions on the GCSE papers. This video covers both the full detail, and the wider overview. It also gives a very clear comparison between mitosis and meiosis, which is a common topic in the exams. If you're aiming for the top grades (7, 8 or 9), then you really need to understand this in full. Watch it twice if you need to. If you still struggle, focus on the summary sections near the end.
