I got the chance to test the newly released Orbea Wild LT in size XL, powered by the Avinox M2S motor, on two different Ard Rock demo trails. This was a genuine first ride rather than a full review, with three POV runs in total — two runs on the first demo trail and one run on the second. The rough, rocky Ard Rock terrain provided a good first impression of how the Wild LT handles faster sections, loose rocks, compressions and technical terrain. I was particularly interested to see how it compared with the Atherton S.170E, which I tested on the same day with the same Avinox M2S motor. The Wild LT immediately felt fast and confidence-inspiring, despite the brake levers on the demo bike pulling much closer to the bars than I would normally choose. In this video I look at: • Initial handling and stability • Suspension feel on rough terrain • Avinox M2S motor response • Fit and feel of the XL frame • Full POV footage from both demo trails • My early impressions compared with the Atherton S.170E This is only a short first ride, so it is not intended as a complete long-term review — but it was enough time to form a useful initial impression of Orbea’s new long-travel Avinox eMTB. Bike tested: Orbea Wild LT Frame size: XL Motor: Avinox M2S Location: Ard Rock, Yorkshire Footage: Three full POV runs Camera: DJI Action 4 Which would you choose: the Orbea Wild LT or the Atherton S.170E? #OrbeaWildLT #AvinoxM2S #emtb #EMTBReview #BikeReview #enduromtb
