Every evening, the same ritual. The shirt gets ironed. The bow tie gets done by hand, not the clip-on kind. He still checks the mirror twice, the way he always did before she’d come down the stairs. Habit, maybe. Or maybe there was never really a difference between habit and love.
The room’s a little more worn now — the velvet faded, the smoke curling up toward a shadow only he can still see. But some things you don’t stop doing just because no one’s there to notice anymore.
I’m a programmer, and music is what keeps me focused when I’m working — and what helps me unwind when I’m not. That’s why this channel exists: I generate tracks with Ace Step 1.5, run them through Python for noise reduction, and manually level every track by hand so the mood never breaks. It’s a small, no-toxicity corner of YouTube — if staying loyal to the small rituals of someone you love is your kind of comfort too, stay a while.
Straighten your tie. Some things are worth doing right, even alone. Press play.
