Century-Old Charm, Modern Function: A Milwaukee Kitchen and Bath Tour

This 100-year-old home in Milwaukee got a kitchen and bathroom renovation built to respect its original character while making it work for how the family actually lives today. In this tour, homeowner Ashley Walter walks us through the finished spaces, sharing how she and her husband use them day to day, the materials behind the design choices, and what it was like working with LaBonte Construction on a home with this much history. Renovating a century-old home comes with its own set of considerations, and the goal throughout was a result that feels like it belongs in the house, not an addition to it. Take the full tour and see how old and new come together in this Milwaukee home.
