In this video, I would like to explain that how to use boron fertilizer in sandy and salts affected soils. Boron is mobile micronutrient and it's availability is maximum at 6.5 pH. These characteristics of boron nutrient make it special in usage in different type of soils. Boron may leach down by rainy water or by irrigational water so its loss may occur in sandy soils. So in sandy soils, our famers should choose foliar application method. In the same way, boron nutrient is not fully available in salts affected soils or in saline soils so boron spray may give better results as compared to soil application or to fertigation method. Boron plays a vital role in cell division, roots development and pollination.
