Stop Playing God – Tunde Bakare Chides Tinubu

On Wake Up Conversations, Gbenga, Joe, and Olive unpacked the major headlines stirring conversations across Nigeria. Topping the list was Pastor Tunde Bakare’s fiery statement aimed at President Bola Tinubu, where he boldly declared: “Stop playing God.” The anchors dissected the political weight of that remark and what it reveals about growing public discontent and leadership scrutiny. Also on the show, the trio celebrated Tunde Onakoya’s inspiring world record chess marathon in New York’s Times Square—hailing it as a beacon of hope and resilience for Nigerian youth. In another emotional segment, they discussed a viral video of a Nigerian soldier venting his frustration over alleged government interference, urging that such matters be addressed, not dismissed.
