Zero8 | Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace sung live in Hölö Church, Stockholm, while recording our 'Mes Très Chers Frères'. Few songs are as widely recognised as Amazing Grace. John Newton, a former slave ship captain who became a clergyman and abolitionist, wrote the words in the 1770s, and they were first printed in 1779. The melody we know today was not paired with them until 1835. With countless versions already out there, arranging a song of such dignity was no easy task for our founder Doug Harrington, who created this version with Rasmus Krigström. The inspiration was imagining what it would be like to ascend to heaven. Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/0iWjlq...
