Holiday House Tour with Michael Devine and Thomas Burak

Step inside Oakton, the Orange, Virginia home of textile designer Michael Devine and interior designer (and former Vice President Design Director of Schumacher) for an intimate tour of the couple’s exquisite personal domain and an inspiring look at their elegant and timeless holiday decorating. From the orange-accented magnolia wreath that adorns their front door to the gilded oak leaves that accent their table settings to the magnificent planter of Christmas red amaryllis on their coffee table, Michael and Thomas have left no surface untouched by sophisticated holiday decorations. What’s more, this taste-making duo share a first-hand look at how their beautifully layered Southern home came together. From the staircase banister upholstered in linen velvet and tassel trim to the guest bedroom canopy draped in aqua Vichy check to a darling stool covered in vintage Schumacher Ze’bre Épinglé, every turn is a show of artistry and a triumph of upholstery.
