Funny Proverbs – For Men Only CasualEnglishBible.com Proverbs is a Bible book for men. Women read it at their own peril because it was written in a day when men wore the robes in the family. Each snappy saying—which would fit in a church potluck fortune cookie—came from dads and granddads some 3,000 years ago. They gave advice to their boys. There’s no advice for anyone but males. I’m calling attention to some of the more unusual parables, for better and worse. Some of these sayings will jaw-drop a lady, like it did my wife. She was the first to say this video is for men.
