Exploring Naarden Vesting by Kayak

We spent the day in Naarden Vesting, one of Europe’s best-preserved star forts, to explore its historic outer moat by boat! ​While Naarden is famous for its rich history and unique star-shaped design, our boating route didn't go quite as planned. We couldn't complete a full loop around the fortress, which turned our trip into a fun, zigzagging adventure through the waterways. ​The silver lining? It led us straight into incredible, untouched nature!
