PLC S7-1200 G2 read encoder pulse using CTRL_HSC_EXT

Today I would like to introduce how to read encoder pulses using a Siemens S7-1200 PLC in TIA Portal V20. In the new version, the CTRL_HSC instruction is no longer available.
